Solar activity has been fairly low with only minor C-Class flares being detected... Feb 10th 2012, 16:41 Solar activity has been fairly low with only minor C-Class flares being detected. New Sunspot 1416 is growing fast and may soon produce stronger flares. Sunspot 1415 rotated onto the western limb and out of direct Earth view. Returning regions, including active Sunspot 1402 from the previous rotation, will begin to rotate back into view over the weekend.
