Is the end of the world coming? What if the Mayans were right? What are we going to do? Do we need to prepare now? With the movie 2012 released last month, many people are in the verge of panic and worries. They are baffled whether they should believe the ancient Mayans or if they should just sweep the Mayan Prophecy under the carpet and go on with their lives. The thing that's scary is, no one really knows, if this predictions will truly happen. Is there a cover up just like in the movie, where billionnaires and highly renowned leaders of the world, and top scientists knows about it but won't say a word to the public? Is there a huge high tech ship being built somewhere around the world just like "Noah's Ark" to save selected animals and the last of the human race?
Mayan people did pass down an undated graphic end-of-the-world scenario, described on the final page of a circa-1100 text known as the Dresden Codex. The document describes a world destroyed by flood. During the empire's era, the Maya invented the Long Count-a lengthy circular calendar that "transplanted the roots of Maya culture all the way back to creation itself.
During the December 21, 2012 winter solstice, time will run out on the current era of the Long Count calendar, which began at what the Maya saw as the dawn of the last creation period which was August 11, 3114 B.C. The Maya wrote that date, which preceded their civilization by thousands of years, as Day Zero, or 13.0.0.0.0.
In December 21, 2012 the lengthy era ends and the complicated, cyclical calendar will roll over again to Day Zero, beginning another humongous cycle.
In the prophecies, the Earth undergoes a pole shift as evidenced by the planet's crust and mantle suddenly shifting, and spinning around Earth's liquid-iron outer core. 2012, the movie, envisions a Maya-predicted pole shift, triggered by an extreme gravitational pull on the planet as manifested by a rare galactic alignment and by massive solar radiation destabilizing the inner Earth by heating it causing earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, and other disasters. Some sky-watchers believe 2012 will close with a galactic alignment, which will occur for the first time in 26,000 years. The severity of the effect not known at this point. In this scenario, the path of the sun in the sky would appear to cross through what, from Earth, looks to be the midpoint of our galaxy, the Milky Way, which in good viewing conditions appears as a cloudy stripe across the night sky.
Some people and scientists fear that the lineup will somehow expose the Earth to a powerful unknown galactic forces that will hasten its doom most likely through a "pole shift" or the stirring of the supermassive black hole at our galaxy's center.
Some people say a mysterious Planet X, aka Nibiru, is on a collision course with Earth thata direct hit would wipe out Earth. Could such an unknown planet really be headed our way in 2012? No one knows...
It is also said that in 2012, the Sun will produce lethal eruptions of solar flares, turning up the heat on Earth. Solar activity waxes and wanes according to approximately 11-year cycles. Big flares can indeed damage communications and other Earthly systems. What our scientists are saying is that, if it happens, the Sun's heat flares won't be strong enough to barbecue us.
The only people that we can rely on whether if the disastrous event will indeed occur or not, are our scientists. Are they giving us correct facts and information? Do they know something we don't and just downplaying the severity of the fact being that our strong world-wide leaders brand this prophecies as a "Top Secret". There are just too many speculations that we have in our mind that we can never get an answers to. Is this another Roswell UFO Incident that was deemed non-factual. Some people believed that the incident did occur and that there was a government cover-up. It's just like the confidential files and Project 1947, FOIA UFO Documents- 1948, Early Top Secret UFO Document Discovered,by Jan Aldrich, who is the Project 1947 Coordinator.
If, indeed, the Mayan Prophecies are factual, we should not rely on our own govenment and scientists to tell us the truth. By the time they tell us that the world will be coming to an end, it will be too late anyway. It won't hurt to prepare ourselves, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Whatever makes us feel better presently, we must keep doing it. The Mayan prediction shouldn't disrupt our normal daily lives. Tke away your worries and anxiety for the world will come to an end eventually, we just never know when?
