How couldthe existence eventually end In December 2012 - Education - Science

Today, ever one is furiously deliberating about the end of the planet. But honestly talking, nobody knows for sure what's going to happen in 2012. There are speculations, interpretations and what not on the info that is there and open to everyone for their views and discussion. There are countless concepts about the dooms day, the day which should mark the end of the world. A few people believe that the earth would end on 21st December which marks the end of Mayan calendar, a 5125 year old cycle followed by the ancient Central Americans before the arrival of Continentals on their land. On the other hand, the people in contradiction of the idea say that the end of the cycle will mark a fresh start in the human world. In India, a thought incarnation of Lord Vishnu, Guru Kalki Bhagwan has projected 2012 as the start of the enlightenment of the human race. In his book titled 2012 : The Return of Quetzalcoatl, Daniel Pinchbeck has propagated the concepts of today's world relati ng to the date. Lots of predictions have been made out in relation to the dates of the doomsday as well as how the world would come to an end. One of the beliefs is that a whole planet would collide with our own planet Earth destroying it fully. This poser planet has been named Niburu. One of the greatest soothsayers ever, Nostradamus, plenty of whose prophecies turn out to be correct even today had also prophesised the end of the world in the year 2012. His prophecies have also been printed across the world in numerous languages. Another opinion on the problem is that the Sun would suddenly increase its activity which will end in huge solar flares and growth of the Sun spots. This could in turn let a large quantity of radiation to fall on earth therefore destroying all sorts of life forms. The temperature of the planet will also increase which should further destroy the planet and therefore the world in which we live in. The length of the lunar cycle was calculated by the M ayans more than five thousand years ago and the final date for it in their calendar was 21st December 2012. One more theory is that large volcanic eruptions will be the root of the end of the world. A volcano by the name Yellowstone erupts every 65 lakh years. The pressure force of this volcano has been increasing steadily. It's a belief that it might explode in 2012 and will likely be the root of the end of the world. Scientists in Europe have been building a big particle accelerator which is a twenty-seven km long machine. Once the experiments start, they're going to create effect of the big bang in it. This is speculated to become a small black hole which may engulf the whole planet and destroy it. Though there are numerous theories about the end of the world, but there are way more than one interpretations of them at the same time. But one conclusion can be drawn which is that something significant is due in 2012
